Mediation Masterclass

Purpose

In this mediation masterclass,  participants will go through the process of a typical workplace mediation from the initial contact with the parties through the various stages of exploring the problem, helping the parties get to the bottom of it and working with them to find a solution. We will discuss some of the skills that help achieve a successful outcome and participants will have the opportunity to practice skills such as building rapport, asking good questions, gaining the trust of the parties and creating an environment where people want to find a solution.

We will find out details about the new Regional Harassment and Bullying Policy and what we need to do to develop our role as Mediators in HSC.
