SHSCT - Looking After Yourself



The aim of the initiative is to provide staff with the supports that will assist them in supporting looking after yourself

The objectives of the initiative are to support participants:

  • Understand the importance of self-care in looking after yourself
  • Gain knowledge in techniques that can support self-care
  • Develop personal behaviors and habits that support self-care

Learning Outcomes

1.The importance of sleep in relation to employee fatigue and organisational outcomes

2.The research behind sleep outlining the impact on fatigue, productivity, decision making , health and wellbeing

3.Linkages of sleep, physical activity, nutrition on fatigue and employee wellbeing

4.Practical techniques to support sleep
