Migrating to Digital Learning

 

Purpose

Are you questioning how to effectively move your face-to-face course online?

 

Need strategies for getting started?  This course will provide information and approaches for adapting a face-to-face course to a digital format by focising on online capabilities, considering the intentional integration of technology to support teaching and learning, and emphasising learner-centred and inclusive practices.

 

Finally the majority of this learning can be utilised when producing new digital learning (as opposed to migrating courses).

Learning Outcomes

  1. Understanding the basics of digital learning.
  2. Appreciating how to transfer a face to face training course to digital learning.
  3. Understanding best practice strategies for delivering digital training.

All Staff.

Method

This course will be delivered virtually, with a blended approach when possible.

 

Please note: This course does not cover specific digital platforms (Zoom, MS Teams) but rather deals with the theory and best practices of producing high quality digital learning.   Extra materials will be available on HSC learn.
