Mindfulness: a tool of our times

 

Purpose

Mindfulness is a type of meditation in which you focus  on being intensely aware of what you are sensing and feeling in the momnet.  Research shows that regular mindfulness practice can enable you to manage stress, increase your focus and energy levels and improve resilience.  This session will introduce you to the foundations of mindfulness and provide resources for beginners to begin their own practice.

Learning Outcomes

Participants will explore:

  • What is mindfulness.
  • Benefits of mindfulness on health well being and performamce.
  • How to engage in mindfulness mediatation.

There will be pre learning on HSC Learn.
