Compassionate Leadership - Hard and Edgy
Compassionate leadership does not involve compromising our commitment to good performance management, having difficult conversations, making changes or being able to challenge the status quo. Evidence shows that Compassionate Leadership leads to healthier workplace cultures and improves the wellbeing and motivation of our staff. This programme will focus on the practice of self-compassion in your leadership role and considers strategies for overcoming challenges you may be facing
1. Understand the context and evidence base to lead compassionately;
2. Identify organisational and individual factors that influence our capacity to be compassionate;
3. Recognise the importance of self-compassion behaviours;
4. Develop greater self-awareness to ensure our response is both empathetic and effective
Anyone in a leadership role within HSC.
