SAS Doctors' and Dentists' Programme - Having Your Voice Heard in Meetings

Following the launch of HSC Learn we no longer accept applications through this website.

To apply for this programme please visit - http://learn.hscni.net/

Purpose

It is not always easy to get your voice heard at meetings or group activities. Dynamics such as the presence of more senior people in the room, your issue not being others’ priority and previous experience of articulating your point all come into play. Making an impact is an art and this session will examine the steps you can take to put yourself forward and start building a resilient and confidence mindset.

We will consider practical tips and strategies to get your voice heard better in meetings and influence the agenda whilst focusing on your confidence and self-awareness.

  • Develop your own self awareness about personal barriers
  • Explore tactics for influencing others
  • Learn tools which will enable you to speak up in meetings and group environments.
