Knowledge Management

The Leadership Centre is offering a range of services to enhance the dissemination of knowledge and good practice on continuous improvement and leadership development through it’s website and other services. We are working in conjunction with the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement, the Kings Fund and other centres of excellence. We are developing a range of tools including:

• Good practice dissemination through evaluation, case studies, toolkits, and learning networks. This will be supported via access to the work of the NHS Institute for Innovation and Improvement and others.


• Action research – building knowledge from practice on the ground – using sensemaker software to capture and analyse high volumes of qualitative data to support decision making in relation to policy, strategic planning and the targeting of interventions and resources.


• Knowledge transfer – accelerating the exchange of information and ideas to support decision making.


• Processes to recognise and acknowledge individual and organisational excellence.
