Preparing for Retirement Workshop
Purpose
This is a free one day virtual workshop which is open to any staff member who is planning to retire within the 12 – 18 months. It aims to inform and educate individuals to make the most effective and stress free financial and personal transition in retirement and help attendees think about volunteering, learning and alternative work opportunities, post retirement.
There will be a number of core presentations in the morning and in the afternoon we will offer a range of topics in breakrooms and participants can choose which ones they are interested in.
Learning Outcomes
- To fully understand how the HSC Superannuation 1995 and 2008 Schemes & the State Retirement Pension work and how this applies to your circumstances.
- To enhance your understanding of the Financial Services Marketplace to allow you to create a sensible investments strategy to manage and protect your assets into the future.
- To raise awareness around active ageing, health and wellbeing, second careers and volunteering opportunities post retirement.
Audience
Primarily for those thinking about or actively planning their retirement within the following 12-18 months. Partners are welcome to log in.
