Sandra McCarry

Sandra has 35 years’ experience working in Health and Social Care, qualifying as a registered nurse in 1992. Following completion of an MSc in Health Improvement and PgDip in Health and Social Care Management, she spent 20 years working in Belfast Trust as Senior Manager for Community Development and Involvement, before moving to the HSC Leadership Centre in April 2023. Sandra is an experienced trainer and facilitator with a commitment to growing and developing leadership skills and capacity across all professions within HSC. She is a qualified coach, mediator and GENOS Emotional Intelligence practitioner and regularly works with individuals to help them develop their full leadership potential. Within the HSC Leadership Centre, Sandra delivers on the regional Proteus leadership programme and is involved in a wide range of consultancy work, including team development, service reviews and mediation.
